Madame Web Clip Shows Dakota Johnson Changes Spider-Women Trio’s Fate

A brand new Madame Web clip for Sony Pictures’ highly-anticipated Spider-Man spin-off has dropped, featuring an extended footage of the train sequence from the trailers.

The video shows Dakota Johnson’s Cassandra Webb preventing the deaths of Sydney Sweeney’s Julia Carpenter, Celeste O’Connor’s Mattie Franklin, and Isabela Merced’s Anya Corazon, after getting a visions of it. The film arrives in theaters on February 14.

What to expect in Madame Web?

“In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines,” says the synopsis. “The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures . . . if they can all survive a deadly present.”

Madame Web is directed by S.J. Clarkson from a screenplay written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Joining Johnson are Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Isabela Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight), and Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), along with Golden Globe nominee Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps (The Upshaws), and Adam Scott (Severance).
