The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep Teaser Trailer Previews the Intense Animated Movie

A new The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep trailer has been released for Netflix’s Geeked Week, previewing the animated movie. The film is set to release on the streaming platform in late 2024.

“Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople,” reads the synopsis. “He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into all-out war.”

What is The Witcher about?

The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family, which centers around the solitary monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, powerful sorceress Yennefer, and young Cintrian princess Ciri as they learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together. 

Based on the stories and novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher is created and executive produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who also serves as the showrunner. Sean Daniel and Jason Brown of Sean Daniel Company executive produce along with Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko of Platige Image.
