In Robin Robin, when an egg falls from the nest, a hatchling is adopted by a family of mice and raised as one of their own. Not quite a bird and not quite a mouse, but full of determination. Robin sets out on an adventure to prove herself and just maybe, get a sandwich.
The stop-motion special will feature the voices of: Gillian Anderson (The Crown) as Cat, the villain of our story who just so happens to know a place where everything is welcome, her tummy; Richart E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) as Magpie, an obsessive collector of shiney ‘stuff; Adeel Aktar (The Big Sick) as Dad Mouse, a caring but cautious soul who is single-handedly raising a family of five children; and Bronte Carmichael (Christopher Robin) as Robin.
Robin Robin is directed by Dan Ojari and Mike Please. The short film hails from Aardman Animation, an acclaimed British animation studio who are best known for their works on Flushed Away, Chicken Run, and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
