Lana Condor and Benedict Samuel board sci-fi thriller Warning
Lana Condor (Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) and Benedict Samuel (Gotham, The Walking Dead) have joined the cast of Avona Pictures’ sci thriller Warning, according to Deadline. The duo join previously announced cast members James D’Arcy (Homeland, Dunkirk), Laura Harrier (BlacKkKlansman, Spider-Man: Homecoming), Charlotte Le Bon (The Hundred-Foot Journey), Mena Massoud (Disney’s upcoming live-action Aladdin, Amazon’s Jack Ryan), and Alex Pettyfer (Magic Mike).
Cut from the same cloth as Wild Tales and Black Mirror, Warning explores loneliness, death and the meaning of life when vastly disparate lives collide in interweaving stories set in a near future Earth.
Agata Alexander will direct the movie, marking her directorial debut, and wrote the original screenplay alongside Rob Michaelson and Jason Kaye.
Condor first appeared on screen as Jubilee in FOX’s X-Men: Apocalypse, and Patriot’s Day starring Mark Wahlberg. She was most recently seen in Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Ever Loved Before, and will next be seen in Alita: Battle Angel, which is currently in post-production, and Summer Night.
Samuel played a recurring role as Jervis Tetch on FOX’s Gotham, and AMC’S The Walking Dead, but has also made film appearances in Robert Zemeckis’ The Walk, and David Wenham’s Ellipsis.
