Announced back in August of last year, Walt Disney Pictures is developing a family comedy called Wish List with Reese Witherspoon attached to star. Today, The Hollywood Reporter has an update, saying that Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is in talks to direct.
Written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger (Kung Fu Panda 2), Wish List will feature Witherspoon in the leading role of a woman who, as a child, made ten wishes on a single coin at a wishing well, unaware that her coin never quite reached the well’s magical bottom. When the coin is finally jostled loose 25 years later, the wishes all come true in the middle of her unsuspecting adult life.
Feig is also attached to direct the upcoming Universal Pictures comedy, The Better Woman.
