Following yesterday’s announcement that saw her joining the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation’s Me & My Shadow, comes word, via Variety, that Kate Hudson will headline Joe Lynch’s Everly.
Lynch, who directed Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, the “Zom-B-Movie” segment of Chillerama and the upcoming Knights of Badassdom, came up with story, which was then scripted by Yale Hannon. It will see Hudson’s character trapped in her apartment and under siege by assassins sent to kill her mob boss ex-boyfriend.
Hudson recently appeared in the romantic comedies Something Borrowed and A Little Bit of Heaven. The latter film also starred Badassdom‘s Peter Dinklage.
