Want to See One of the Practical Creatures from Knights of Badassdom?

Knights of Badassdom is in a bit of a pickle.  As we told you last week, the financiers behind the film are shopping around a cut that is not director Joe Lynch’s vision.  There are plenty of other “bad business” problems plaguing the film, too, none of which have to do with Lynch and his creative team.  That said, there’s no telling when we’ll see this creature feature about LARPers who encounter the forces of darkness.  For now, you’ll just have to get teases of the film, like the two videos you’ll find after the jump.

They’re clips from the documentary Men in Suits and they showcase the team at Spectral Motion doing what they do best: Creating practical monsters.  In this case, they’re working on a monster for Knights of Badassdom.  Inside, get a taste of the creation of “Abominog”…

Joe Lynch’s Knights of Badassdom Screening Tomorrow, Film Taken Hostage?

It has been well over a year since Joe Lynch’s Knights of Badassdom was previewed before San Diego Comic-Con audiences, offering them a first look at the horror-fantasy which draws its inspiration from the world of LARPing and stars Ryan Kwanten, Steve Zahn and Peter Dinklage.  

With a cast like that, you’d think the film would have no problems at all, right?  Well, dark, threatening clouds have been building over Knights, slowing its momentum to getting a release.
