USA Today has our first look at Idris Elba (Star Trek Beyond, Luther) and Kate Winslet (The Reader, Divergent) in 20th Century Fox‘s survival drama/romance The Mountain Between Us, an adaptation of Charles Martin’s 2010 novel. Check out the photos in the gallery below!
The Mountain Between Us follows two strangers, stranded after a tragic plane crash, who must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain.
Directed by Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now) from an adapted screenplay by J. Mills Goodloe (Everything, Everything) and Chris Weitz (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), the film co-stars Dermot Mulroney (The Grey) and Beau Bridges (The Descendants).
The Mountain Between Us is set to open on October 20, 2017.
