The official Facebook page for Rise of the Planet of the Apes has posted a four-second clip showing the work of WETA for the August 5 release. You can watch it using the player below and stay tuned for lots more on the movie later this week!
The page also says that this Wednesday on the official Avatar Facebook page, they’ll be giving a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the apes. You can read more details on this event below the clip.
Directed by Rupert Wyatt, the sci-fi action adventure stars James Franco, John Lithgow, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, Brian Cox, Tom Felton and David Oyelowo.
Set in present day San Francisco, the film is a reality-based cautionary tale, a science fiction/science fact blend, where man’s own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
