Piven and O’Malley Join Miley Cyrus in So Undercover

Guy East and Nigel Sinclair, Co-Chairmen of Exclusive Media Group, announced today that Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jeremy Piven (“Entourage”) and Mike O’Malley (“Glee”) will join Miley Cyrus (The Last Song, “Hannah Montana,” LOL) in the action comedy So Undercover.

Exclusive Films is producing and fully financing the film with Cyrus in the lead role. The film will be directed by Tom Vaughan (What Happens in Vegas), and the screenplay is co-written by Allan Loeb (Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps) and Steven Pearl (The Switch). Along with Exclusive, the film will be produced by Loeb and Pearl through their company, Scarlet Fire Entertainment and by Tish Cyrus (The Last Song, LOL). Executive Producers are Jodi Zuckerman-Weiner (Hearts in Atlantis) for Cyrus’ production company Hope Town Entertainment and Rob Cowan (The Crazies).

Exclusive Films International is handling worldwide sales of this title with East and Alex Walton, President of International Sales and Distribution, taking the lead.

In the film, Cyrus will play a tough, street-smart private investigator who is hired by the FBI to go undercover in the one place they’re unable to infiltrate – and a world she knows nothing about… a college sorority. Piven will play Special Agent Armon, O’Malley will play Sam (Molly’s father). Kelly Osborne has already been cast as Becky, one of the sorority sisters, along with Eloise Mumford as Sasha, Lauren McKnight as Alex, Megan Park as Cotton, Morgan Calhoun as Hunter, and Alexis Knapp as Taylor. Josh Bowman has been cast as Molly’s love interest Nicholas while Matthew Settle (“Gossip Girl”) has been cast as Professor Talloway.

Piven will next be seen starring in Mark Pellington’s indie drama I Melt With You which will premiere at Sundance this month, opposite Carla Gugino, Thomas Jane, and Rob Lowe. He also plays a major role in the fourth installment of Robert Rodriguez’s franchise “Spy Kids” for Dimension, and will star in the indie Drift.
