I hadn’t heard of The Secret Life of Pets until today when the new trailer dropped along with a batch of photos, but apparently it’s a new animated film from the folks behind Despicable Me, taking a look at what your pets get up to once you leave the house.
Featuring the voice of Louis C.K. as Max, a dog whose life is turned upside down when his owner brings home a new dog named Duke. The two must eventually come together, however, to combat a neighborhood bunny named Snowball, who is building an army of abandoned pets aiming to take revenge on all the happily-owned pets and their owners. Additional voices include Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Albert Brooks, Dana Carvey and Steve Coogan.
The film is set to hit theaters on July 8, 2016. Watch the trailer below.
