Vin Diesel Gets Choked Up Over Paul Walker at ‘Furious 7’ Screening

Vin Diesel stopped by an advanced screening of Furious 7 in Los Angeles and the message of “family”, which has been emphasized in the most recent installments of the Fast and Furious franchise and seemingly even more so in this seventh iteration based on the “I don’t have friends, I have family” line Diesel’s character utters in the film’s trailers, continued as he paid tribute to the late Paul Walker.

“In some ways, this was the hardest movie I’ve ever had to do,” Diesel said. “The relationships you see in the film are so real. When the tragedy happened… I lost my friend. I lost my brother.”

I’m not sure I’ll ever forget walking around a Seattle Barnes & Noble when I heard of tapped something out on my cell phone and posted it. My wife and I rushed home so I could edit the post into a more proper format. You know you’re getting old when the celebrities you grew up with begin passing away, either tragically or simply from old age, as it’s a constant reminder of our mortality and how life around us and our relationships are far more important than a lot of the petty things we seem to give so much attention to on a day-to-day basis.
