Hitting On Demand today over at Amazon and iTunes is Joe Carnahan‘s Stretch starring Patrick Wilson as a down-on-his-luck chauffeur looking to relieve himself of some debt when he starts working for a billionaire (Chris Pine) who makes his life hell. Universal was going to release the film in theaters earlier this year, but now they’ve basically washed their hands of any kind of marketing effort (I haven’t received a single email about the new movie) and left it to Carnahan to do most of his own promotion… and he’s doing a pretty good job.
