‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’: New Pictures, Clip and Featurette

Transformers: Age of Extinction has already been seen by some and is getting the reviews you’d largely expect and it seems Michael Bay still can’t seem to cut one of these films down to a reasonable running time as this one clocks in at 165 minutes, but hey, it’s way we expect right? You decide to show up to see this one, don’t walk out complaining if you get what you expect.

I’m seeing the movie this Wednesday and I’m actually a little interested in seeing what Bay has to offer, even though I’m not too excited about having to see it in fake IMAX with what are undoubtedly the worst 3D glasses in existence at the moment. But hey, we can only complain so much. After all, there are still more to come as producer Lorenzo di Bonaventure talked Transformers 5, which is expected in 2016 with Heat Vision and said:

“We’re not not planning on doing a trilogy. It’s really a one-movie-at-a-time philosophy. [Anything else] feels a little arrogant. Both [Bay] and I feel like it’s a little arrogant of us to presume success each time. We know our fans are really out there and they’re going to come, so we presume a certain amount of success. But all the energy will be thrown into the next movie, if we’re lucky enough to get there… one of the things that people underestimate about the Transformers mythology is how rich it is, there’s an enormous number of characters; there’s a helluva lot of storylines, etcetera”.

But enough of that, we have a fourth one this weekend. Let’s focus on that, and today I have for you another new clip from the movie, a featurette taking a look at the involvement of Imagine Dragons and their new song for the movie and a new TV spot for the film, just before a whole batch of new pictures over the next couple pages.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters this Friday, June 27.
