I’m not sure this has ever happened before, but the reader average is exactly the same as Laremy’s prediction for Maleficent at $60.8 million. It would appear he holds some sway over your opinions. Tracking is for a $64 million, so neither Laremy nor the readers have much faith in this one.
The other newcomer on the board was Seth MacFarlane‘s A Million Ways to Die in the West and Laremy is a little more bullish on this one with his prediction coming in $2.9 million higher than the reader average at $28.1 million and a third place finish.
Expected in second is X-Men: Days of Future Past, which the readers peg for a $39.1 million sophomore session while the prediction for Blended is $6.62 million. On a side note, while I won’t be getting in the habit of updating predictions, Greg Dinskisk accidentally predicted $6123 million instead of $6.123 million for Blended and so as not to screw up the averages I corrected it.
