Wes Anderson‘s The Grand Budapest Hotel is not only one of the best films of the year, it is now his highest grossing domestic ($51.6 million) and worldwide ($140.5 million) release of all-time. How is he going to celebrate? Well, along with Grand Budapest co-conspirators — Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman and Roman Coppola — he will board the cruise ship Queen Mary 2 on June 13, traveling from New York to London.
Passengers can purchase tickets ranging from $1,298 to $18,948 as the cruise will play host to a special screening of Grand Budapest, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmaker and cast.
That ticket price is way too rich for my blood, but I’m sure some hoity toity types will surely have a good time. [THR]
