Edgerton for Corbijn’s ‘Life’, Hinds for ‘Agent 47’ & Miller for Eastwood’s ‘Sniper’

Not too long ago we got our first look at Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan as photographer Dennis Stock and actor James Dean respectively in Anton Corbijn upcoming true life story Life and now Joel Edgerton is joining the cast of the film with production already in progress

Edgerton will join the cast, which also includes Ben Kingsley and Kristen Hager, and will play Magnum Photography editor John Morris, who brokered the deal for the photos Stock was commissioned to take of Dean on a photographic journey across the US, from LA to New York and on to Indiana. Edgerton will also be starring opposite Johnny Depp in Scott Cooper‘s Black Mass and now Guy Pearce is now in talks to play former President of the Massachusetts Senate Billy Bulger, brother of Whitey Bulger to be played by Depp. [Variety]

Based on the autobiography of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, the film tells of how the Texas native came to record the highest number of sniper kills for an American. Cooper will play Kyle with Miller playing his wife, Taya Renae Kyle. [The Wrap]

Ciaran Hinds has joined the video game adaptation Agent 47 for Fox and director Aleksander Bach. Rupert Friend is playing the title role with Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Thomas Kretschmann and Dan Bakkedahl co-starring. [THR]
