It’s Oscar weekend and the predictions are in and I have to say, I’m a little surprised the readership didn’t go much higher on Son of God as the averages follow Laremy’s lead with Non-Stop at #1 and, in fact, they go one better, predicting a $27.1 million weekend, almost $2 million more than Laremy is predicting.
The reader average also went higher on Son of God with a $23.6 million aggregate with two readers predicting over $40 million, the highest of which was Maj. Kong with a $46.2 million prediction. 13 of the 93 predictions on the board managed to reach $30+ million, which should make this an interesting finish.
As for the holdovers, the readers didn’t deviate much from Laremy’s predictions for The Lego Movie and Pompeii as I accidentally forgot to set the predictions up for The Wind Rises. My fault on that.
