Lionsgate may have cornered the market when it comes to bombarding fans with news, information, clips, pictures and trailers for their Hunger Games franchise. From their Capital Coutoure posts to announcing every single casting decision no matter how small the character, it seems you could spend your entire day covering this single franchise alone and the clock would strike midnight and you’d still have work from the previous day to do.
Today the onslaught for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire continues with a new IMAX featurette and three new pictures from the film, which begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
You can check out the featurette and the three new pictures directly below. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit theaters on November 22.
