Emma Stone Heads to South of France for Woody Allen’s Next

At the age of 77-years-old, Woody Allen is a machine. He recently completed Blue Jasmine, which will hit theaters on July 26 and he’s already readying his next film with Emma Stone reportedly set to star. All that’s known about the film is that it will shoot in the South of France.

Stone is a perfect muse for Allen with her deadpan humor and dry wit, I just hope the on-the-nose casting isn’t too on-the-nose as the more unexpected casting decisions have been the better ones as of late, such as Owen Wilson in Midnight in Paris and Scarlett Johanssonand Rebecca Hall in Vicki Cristina Barcelona.

As for Stone this is yet another solid title added to her upcoming slate, which already includes an untitled film for Cameron Crowe, the dark comedy Birdman for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Crimson Peak for Guillermo del Toro and, of course, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
