Lady Gaga and Alexa Vega Revealed in ‘Machete Kills’

The ladies are getting all the attention today when it comes to Robert Rodriguez‘s Machete Kills as earlier this morning Alexa Vega premiered the photo you see to the right of her in the film as a character going by the name of KillJoy and only minutes ago Lady Gaga was revealed to have a role in the film with the character poster you see at the bottom of this post.

Vega’s reveal is earning a lot of attention for obvious reasons, a lot having to do with the fact she’s probably best known for her role as Carmen Cortez in Rodriguez’s Spy Kids trilogy, in which she was only 13-years-old upon the first film’s release in 2001. Well, Vega is all grown up now.

As for Gaga, all that’s known is she’ll be playing a character going by the name of La Chameleon as she joins a large cast of actresses, which also includes Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara and Zoe Saldana.

The film is a sequel to 2010’s Machete and brings back Danny Trejo in the title role as the ex-federale is recruited by the U.S. government to stop an arms dealer (Mel Gibson) from launching a deadly missile.
