Man, that picture above of Matthew Fox in Alex Cross still freaks me out, but today’s premiere of the film’s poster isn’t as strangely disturbing.
Based on James Patterson’s “I, Alex Cross” and starring Tyler Perry in the title role, the film is being looked at as a franchise starter and origin tale of the detective/psychologist Alex Cross as he tracks a serial killer and rapist who may have murdered his pregnant wife years earlier. The film is directed by Rob Cohen (xXx, Stealth) and costars Edward Burns, Jean Reno, Giancarlo Esposito, John C. McGinley and Yara Shahidi.
The film is set to hit theaters on October 26 and perhaps with this week’s release of Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection we’ll be getting a trailer in the coming days.
