For whatever reason my mind has been in the clouds and I didn’t realize Prometheus is actually hitting theaters next weekend. Maybe it’s just an occupational hazard, but as the days go by they all begin to blur together and I tend to forget what is coming out one week to the next.
So, when I looked at my calendar this morning and saw the Seattle screening for Prometheus is taking place in only a couple of days I got a little excited. After all, Prometheus is, after Django Unchained, my second most anticipated (since Gravity was moved to 2013) movie of the year.
That said, as much as I have written about the film, I feel as if I fortunately still know very little. I’ve posted several plot rumors, TV spots and trailers and did it all by doing my best not to actually pay too close attention to the particulars… not easy in a lot of cases. So, no, I did not watch the new featurette I have posted below, though others around the web are saying it doesn’t have any spoilers. Of course, to my knowledge none of them have seen the film yet either so how does anyone know?
Watch if you like, but if you can, hold out just a little longer and you can see the full thing in theaters on June 8.
