It would appear a TV spot a day until The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20, which is when Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy will come to an end and when it does, what will fanboys cling to for rabid anticipation? Obviously The Hobbit will be of interest, but are you as excited for that as you are for Rises? I don’t get the impression people love The Avengers franchise as much as Nolan’s Batman and definitely not Spider-Man. I get the feeling Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained and even Ridley Scott’s Prometheus take a backseat to the Bat for many of you.
It’s certainly exciting, and I can’t wait, but I’m almost just as interested to see what will become the next “big” thing.
Check out the new TV spot directly below, which just so happens to be the one I was describing when I posted the third TV spot click here.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20 and marks the conclusion of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The cast includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman; Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (Catwoman); Tom Hardy as Bane; Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.
