Time to Begin Avoiding ‘Dark Knight Rises’ TV Spots

As anyone that reads this site already knows, I do my best to avoid watching trailers of any sort and only recently made an exception for the Django Unchained and The Master footage in Cannes (read that here).

That said, last night I was watching some television when suddenly the familiar skyline of Christopher Nolan‘s Gotham City appeared on the screen. I stood up and excused myself from the room for 30 seconds realizing we were now close enough to July 20 that TV spots for The Dark Knight Rises were going to become a regular thing, which meant I will need to excuse myself often until the film finally hits theaters… but that doesn’t mean you need to.

Today I have a third TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises for you and, based on the fact it doesn’t begin with a shot of Gotham, I know it’s different than the one I saw last night. I would assume, however, the one I saw last night was probably one of the first two TV spots I featured last week… If you missed those click here.

Now here’s that new TV spot titled “Rise”.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20 and marks the conclusion of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The cast includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman; Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (Catwoman); Tom Hardy as Bane; Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.
