Fads tend to die out, but I don’t think this idea of character posters for movies is ever going away. Websites post them because every time they are released they can post a new story, which means several more pageviews and not a lot of work has to go into posting the story, just something along the lines of … Summit has released a trio of new character posters featuring Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jaocb (Taylor Lautner) from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
Now, I could just leave it at that, or tell you this time around the plot thickens and everything goes crazy as Jacob finally gets to hook up with Bella’s baby and they all live happily ever after… or something like that, I’m not sure, I haven’t read the books, but we’ll all find out what’s going to happen on November 16. The studio also likes the idea of characters posters because if a website is doing it right they will list the members of the cast (done), the name of the movie (done), the release date (done) and the synopsis (sort of done). All that’s next is more character posters or the theatrical poster, or the international poster, etc. Essentially, it’s safe to say we’ll be doing this more over the course of the next six months… For now, here are the latest…
