Just above is the logo for Disney’s new animated short film Paperman via the film’s official Facebook page, which I first mentioned Wreck-It Ralph on November 2. Along with that we get the following plot description:
Introducing a groundbreaking technique that seamlessly merges computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques, first-time director John Kahrs takes the art of animation in a bold new direction with Paperman. Using a minimalist black-and-white style, the short follows the story of a lonely young man in mid-century New York City, whose destiny takes an unexpected turn after a chance meeting with a beautiful woman on his morning commute. Mel Gibson is set to play a supporting role in Machete Kills, the Robert Rodriguez-directed sequel that will bring Danny Trejo back as the blade-wielding former Federale title character as he is drafted by the U.S. government to track an arms dealer through Mexico before he can launch a rocket. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Transformers, Star Trek) have been hired to rewrite the script for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. James Vanderbilt wrote the screenplay for The Amazing Spider-Man, which hits theaters on July 3 and also wrote the original draft for the sequel, which has already been dated for May 2, 2014.

Remember that bad idea for a movie based on the Stretch Armstrong toy? Well, Relativity has set Dean Georgaris (The Manchurian Candidate, Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) to pen the screenplay with the film already set to hit theaters on April 11, 2014. [source]
Finally, if you’re a fan of the “Uncharted” video games, someone has pieced together the game play for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception into three feature length films. The first comes in at a manageable hour and 53 minutes, while the second is just shy of three hours and the third a whopping three hours and 16 minutes.
