What I Watched, What You Watched: Installment #128

Apologies for the delay in this week’s What I Watched installment, but I have been busy with preparations for tonight’s Golden Globe Awards and getting things set up for live blogging, winners, tweets and breaking news. You’d think after six years of doing it things would get easier, but with code and trying to one up yourself each year things are never easy. Unfortunately.

That said, I do have one movie to share with you and look forward to reading about what you watched this last week.

True Grit (2010)

On my flight home from the Critics Choice Awards I was able to put the laptop down, break out the iPad and just sit back and watch a movie and I decided on my #1 film from 2010, the Coen brothers’ True Grit. Quite simply, I love this movie and I hadn’t watched it in some time so it was a lot of fun to revisit.

I should also add that I watched a few more episodes of “Boardwalk Empire” and am still not convinced it’s as great as people say as it seems the #1 goal of each episode is to show as many naked women as possible and make sure at least one person dies. So many scenes seem to be unnecessary that I am just having a hard time understanding why so many people love it. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Oh, and as always, what did you watch?
