As I’ve done over the course of the last four years (except for 2009 when the list of presenters was kept a secret), I’m beginning the list of presenters set for the 2011 Oscars as the Academy has announced Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock, Marisa Tomei and Oprah Winfrey as the first five names set to present at the 83rd Academy Awards.
All five are previous Oscar nominees with Berry winning Best Actress Oscar for her role in Monsters Ball, Bridges and Bullock both won last year for Crazy Heart and The Blind Side respectively, Tomei won in 1992 for My Cousin Vinny and Winfrey was nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role in The Color Purple… not to mention she brings in legions of viewers as well as does her Oscar lead-in specials.
