Warner Home Video has announced a December 7 DVD and Blu-ray release for Christopher Nolan’s summer blockbuster hit Inception. The film has generated plenty of chatter around these parts and made over $289 million at the domestic box-office and over $804 million worldwide.
Like The Dark Knight, it looks like we shouldn’t expect an audio commentary, though the Blu-ray looks like it will come with a few goodies not included on the DVD. First off, the DVD will come equipped with the following features:
- “The Inception of Inception” featurette
- “The Japanese Castle: The Dream is Collapsing” featurette
- “Constructing Paradoxical Architecture – Designing the Staircase to Nowhere” featurette
- “The Freight Train – Constructing the Street-Faring Express Train” featurette
As for the Blu-ray, the only information I have at this moment is that it will come with the four featurettes listed above along with an “Extraction Mode” exclusive to Blu-ray.
