Summit has just released the short preview that played at Comic Con for the upcoming Nicolas Cage actioner Drive Angry directed by Patrick Lussier (My Bloody Valentine 3-D).
In the film Cage throws on another wig and channels his inner “Grrrrr” and stars as Milton, an alcoholic felon who’s just broken out of jail in an attempt to stop the cult that already murdered his daughter from sacrificing his infant granddaughter next. He has three days and he’s gonna have to “drive angry” in order to save her.
The film co-stars William Fichtner, Amber Heard (The Stepfather) and Twilight‘s Billy Burke.
Summit is already set to release the film on February 11 and the one thing I really want you to pay attention to in the short 30-second teaser is the title screen where it reads “Shot In 3D”. Perhaps that’s going to become the new way of telling audiences this film isn’t some crappy 2D-to-3D conversion.
