People have been harping on M Night Shyamalan pretty bad following The Last Airbender, which makes me wonder how they will approach something dubbed “From the Mind of M. Night Shyamalan” as Universal and Apple have debuted the trailer for Devil, a film described as “a supernatural thriller with M. Night Shyamalan’s signature touch.”
The story for Devil is by Shyamalan, Brian Nelson wrote the screenplay and Drew and John Erick Dowdle (Quarantine) direct what a mounts to a relative group of no names led by Chris Messina.
All that’s known about the film’s plot is that it’s a supernatural thriller following a group of people trapped in an elevator who end up discovering one of them is the devil. Geoffrey Arend, Logan Marshall-Green, Bojana Novakovic, Jenny O’Hara, Bokeem Woodbine and Jacob Vargas co-star.
