Thanks to Emma and Aurélien from CinemaTeaser we have a look at the new French poster for Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3D, which comes from the French Facebook page for the movie.
The poster immediately brings to mind the poster from Jaws, which I also included directly below. Jaws was actually released 35 years ago as of June 20 and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Piranha 3D is well received by audiences when it hits theaters on August 20 (September 1 internationally) that the idea of a Jaws remake, or a film like it is considered. It wasn’t too long ago Steve Alten’s “Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror” was considered for a film adaptation… perhaps success here could get those talks started again.
