2010 Golden Globes Live Blog: Up-to-the-Minute Winners and Commentary

5:00:19 PM: Page two begins here…

5:01:25 PM: Ricky Gervais reminds everyone who the mastermind behind “The Office” is.

5:02:19 PM: How many NBC jokes will be delivered tonight? The count has to be up to five or six so far.

5:04:52 PM: Gervais: “You could be a little Asian child with no possessions and no money and you see a picture of Angelina Jolie and go, ‘Mommy.'”

5:05:21 PM: Nicole Kidman arrives to hand out our first award for the night, which is Best Supporting Actress in a movie… gotta be Mo’Nique right?

5:06:26 PM: And the winner is Mo’Nique for Precious

5:07:39 PM: Well, how will this go. You think she doesn’t appreciate this? Guess what she does. Wonder if all the naysayers will still chastise her.

5:10:01 PM: Sofia Vergara and Matthew Fox are presenting the Actress in TV series Comedy or Musical, and they are rushing this bad boy.

5:11:01 PM: And the winner is Toni Collette for United States of Tara

5:12:57 PM: Ugh, seems my Twitter posting code had an error in it. I think I fixed it and hopefully the winners will also be posted on Twitter.

5:15:25 PM: Can’t help but feel sorry for Luke Wilson doing these AT&T commercials.

5:16:48 PM: Miss Golden Globe is Mavis Spencer, Alfre Woodard’s daughter.

5:17:23 PM: Okay, here comes the award for Best Supporting actor on a TV show (I think it’s supporting).

5:18:00 PM: By the way, can’t wait to see Lithgow on “Dexter” haven’t seen that season yet…

5:18:32 PM: And look at that, Lithgow won.

5:23:04 PM: Paul McCartney presenting Animated Feature film, this has got to be Up, but I’m hoping for a Fantastic Fox upset.

5:49:04 PM: Okay, so the server crashed and I had some people working on the backend to help me so for now I’m just going to write and post information as I can.

First, while I was gone Up won for Best Animated Feature, Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”) won Best Actor in TV Series Drama, Julianna Margulies (“The Good Wife”) won for Best Actress in TV Series Drama, “The Weary Kind” from Crazy Heart won Best Original Song in a Motion Picture and Up wins for Best Score

5:51:51 PM: Wow! Things are working again and I just updated Twitter with a bunch of stuff that happened a long time ago!

5:52:09 PM: Gotta wonder, is anyone still reading?

5:53:48 PM: Amy Adams and Josh Brolin out to deliver Mini Series or TV movie winner.

5:55:03 PM: And Grey Gardens takes it. That one was supposed to be pretty good and I know the original that was sold by Criterion did great business.

5:56:48 PM: By the way, I can say it now, but what was up with Harrison Ford? Was he drunk, tired, what?

5:57:26 PM: I think a little Marilyn Manson would get these Grey Gardens folks off the stage a little faster.

5:57:56 PM: Tom Hanks is here to announce Julie and Julia as a Musical or Comedy contender… too bad the film isn’t as good as Streep’s performance.

5:59:40 PM: Okay, it’s six o’clock and time for a page break.
