So that’s my top ten accompanied by an enormous list of honorable mentions that, despite its size, still didn’t include the likes of potential additions such as Sofia Coppola, Brad Bird, Tim Burton, Errol Morris, Michael Moore, Jonathan Demme, Terry Gilliam, Richard Linklater, David Mamet, David O. Russell and Brian De Palma. The fact I am comfortable with this top ten at all may be looked at as a miracle, but what more can I do other than go with my heart?
