Bradley Cooper to be the Face of ‘The A-Team’

IESB has taken to spy games tactics to get their scoops as they have acquired news directly from the source that Bradley Cooper will star as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck a.k.a Face in Joe Carnahan’s The A-Team. Face was played by Dirk Benedict in the ’80s television show of which the film is based.

Getting the news via a hidden tape recorder in the hallways of Caesar’s Palace Cooper was quoted saying, “Yeah… its Joe Carnahan’s. It’s very interesting. It’ll be cool. It will be cool see what…He’ll make a great movie out of it.”

IESB has also been insisting for some time that Common is first in line to star as B.A. Baracus, a role that made Mr. T the name he is today.

Not even IESB is willing to say conclusively that Common is aboard, but the Cooper news seems solid.

The A-Team cast is likely to come together soon as Fox has already set a June 11, 2010 release date for the film based on the adventures of a group of US Army Special Forces who are on the run for a crime they didn’t commit. The team included Hannibal, the leader whose favorite line was “I love it when plan comes together;” Face, a ladies man; Howling Mad Murdock, an unstable pilot; and B.A. Baracus, the surly muscle (B.A. stands for “Bad Attitude”).

As for Bradley Cooper, he will next be seen in The Hangover on June 5, 2009 and has also been mentioned as a candidate for WB’s Green Lantern.
