‘Orphan’ Helmer Readies His Next Thriller

Juame Collet-Serra directed the House of Wax remake in 2005, has Orphan hitting theaters on July 24 starring Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard and he is already prepping his next feature as Variety announces he will direct Unknown White Male for Dark Castle.

The thriller follows a doctor and his wife who go to Berlin for a medical conference. After a car accident, he awakes from a coma to discover that another man has assumed his identity.

The picture is an adaptation of the Didier Van Cauwelaert novel “Out of My Head” with a script by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell.

On a side note, Collet-Serra directed the “Don’t Vote” advertisements featuring the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio, which became a YouTube sensation during the Presidential campaign.
