Val Kilmer’s Wild Makeup Experiences

Always on the ball with the latest on Val Kilmer, resident RopeofSilicon scooper “thebatsignal” has just sent in four new images of Kilmer as he undergoes a series of makeup treatments for his role in Columbus Day and one of him as Mark Twain, a role he was first rumored to be playing back in December 2006 even though no official announcement has been made.

Columbus Day is being directed by Charles Burmeister and is about a thief who tries to fix the damage done during the biggest heist of his career.

Scooper ‘thebatsignal’ sent in the following comments with the batch of pics, which you can see just below:

Val Kilmer will be incognito for his next series of films. He is undergoing over an hour of makeup each day for his role in “Columbus Day” with grey hair and damaged skin application for the lead role as an older gangster.

There is a photo that shows Kilmer as Mark Twain in the as yet untitled production that will start filming sometime after “Columbus Day”. Kilmer also underwent significant time in makeup for facial hair, wig and scab application for his role in “Commanche Moon”.

The first two pics below are Kilmer from Columbus Day, the third is Kilmer from the television mini-series “Commanche Moon” for CBS and will air in November 2007 and the fourth is Kilmer as Twain (yup, that’s Val!).
