Even though I had no interest in seeing the latest feature film adaptation of The Pink Panther there is no denying how well it did at the box-office as it more than doubled its production budget in worldwide ticket sales. I guess that is why Sony and MGM are moving forward on Pink Panther sequel with Scott Neustadter and Michael M. Weber aboard to pen the pic.
The plot for the sequel is being kept quiet but Steve Martin is confirmed as on board to reprise his role as Inspector Jacques Clouseau. No word on the rest of the cast.
