‘Die Hard 4’ Gets Long and ‘Reset’

When it was first being talked about online the fourth installment in the Die Hard series was being called Die Hard 4.0. However, as time wore on, the 4.0 was dropped and left at simply 4, but today Production Weekly is carrying news that the subtitle for the film is now “Reset” and that the star of the upcoming comedy Accepted, Justin Long, is in negotiations to join the cast.

Underworld 1 and 2 helmer, Len Wiseman, is aboard to direct Bruce Willis in the upcoming sequel which finds hero John McClane (Willis) coming out of retirement to battle an Internet terrorist organization intending to systematically demolish or seize our technological infrastructure via a three-day plan. These guys will gradually step up malfunctions starting with traffic control systems, working towards economic markets, and finally shutting down key utilities like power and water to send the US essentially into a modern Dark Ages.

September 30 is currently being eyed as the start date with producers already scouting locations in Vancouver.
