Production Weekly is reporting that John Malkovich and Jeremy Sisto are set to star in Gardens of the Night for director Damian Harris.
The pic is described as a haunting, gritty and topical story, which delves deep into the world of child abduction and where it often leads… for the “lucky ones”. The script follows an eight year old girl and boy are taken from their homes and convinced that their families do not want them anymore. After enduring 9 years of horror, they are set free. Now, 16 years old and no one to turn to except each other, they do their best to survive life on the streets.
According to the site production will begin in San Diego and Los Angeles on August 14th.
