We were led to believe that the earlier announced Simpsons Movie was not exactly going to be moving forward too quickly due to the creators’ desire to ensure things weren’t rushed, but it seems things aren’t moving as slow as anticipated.
Nancy Cartwright, the woman who voices the Bart Simpson character was talking to BBC radio and dropped a hefty tidbit about the film’s status.
“You know what? We’ve just done the table read for the ‘Simpsons’ movie so although we’ve been promoting that we’re going to do it, now we’re actually doing it and are in production.”
“I’m sure it won’t take any less than a couple of years.”
“I don’t know the name of it and I can’t go into details about it and we’ll just have to see how it goes, but I think it’s going to be great and the fans are going to dig it.”
