A new 5 minute trailer for 20th Century Fox’s The Day the Earth Stood Still is now online and can be watched using the player below! You may have seen a lot of this video on TV in September, but this new version of the clip features more footage previously unseen.
Opening on December 12 in conventional theaters and IMAX, the sci-fi thriller stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, Jaden Smith, Jon Hamm and Kyle Chandler. Reeves portrays Klaatu, an alien whose arrival on our planet triggers a global upheaval. As governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind the visitor’s appearance, a woman (Connelly) and her young stepson get caught up in his mission and come to understand the ramifications of his being a self-described “friend to the Earth.”
