MGM has bought the comedy Le Car from Wayne McClammy and Will Burke, with McClammy attached to direct, and Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen producing through their Temple Hill, says Variety.
It’s the second directing deal for McClammy, who helmed Jimmy Kimmal viral hits “I’m F**king Matt Damon” and follow-up “I’m F**king Ben Affleck.” Fox hired him earlier this month to direct its comedy Cool School.
Le Car tells the story of an unconventional group of CIA agents who attempt to stop an evil automobile from detonating a hydrogen bomb at the Lake Placid Winter Olympics.
