DreamWorks Picks Up Shared Fare

DreamWorks has picked up Stacey Harman’s romantic comedy spec script Shared Fare for Brian Robbins to produce as a potential directing vehicle, reports Variety.

Benderspink is also producing.

The story is based on a true-life experience of Langley Perer — Benderspink’s director of development — who split a cab with a stranger and ended up dating the guy for a year.

Robbins is shooting DreamWorks’ A Thousand Words, his third straight Eddie Murphy comedy.
