Producers of Rob Zombie’s Halloween have picked up the horror thriller Hurt from writers Anthony Grieco and Jeff Drongowski for new helmer Adam Finberg to direct, reports Variety.
Trancas International Films, Left Hook Entertainment and Yellowsand Pictures optioned the script on Halloween, making it one of the final sales before writers hit the picket lines.
The movie revolves around a group of estranged best friends who are reunited after another commits suicide. The gathering ends up becoming a bloodbath because the meeting was set up as retribution.
Trancas’ Malek Akkad, Left Hook’s Justin Hogan and Yellowsand’s Marc Lazard will produce the film.
