The 300 team of director Zack Snyder, screenwriter Kurt Johnstad and Hollywood Gang have reunited for The Last Photograph, a drama based on an original idea by Snyder, says Variety.
The story revolves around a photograph that becomes the catalyst for a journey two men undertake through war-torn Afghanistan.
Johnstad will write the script as a potential directing vehicle for Snyder. Hollywood Gang’s Gianni Nunnari will produce with Snyder and his Cruel and Unusual Films partner/wife Deborah Snyder.
Snyder is directing Watchmen, and he’s developing for WB the Joby Herald-scripted Army of the Dead, an adaptation of Ray Bradbury novel “The Illustrated Man.” He’s also working on Sucker Punch, an action fantasy Snyder is writing with Steve Shibuya.
