Ray Liotta will join Forest Whitaker and Jessica Biel in Powder Blue, which director Timothy Linh Bui begins shooting next month, reports Variety.
Written by Bui, the drama concerns four troubled people who connect on Christmas Eve. Liotta plays an ex-con who has been released after a 25-year stretch and reaches out to his long-lost daughter (Biel).
Last seen in Wild Hogs and Smokin’ Aces, Liotta just wrapped the Wayne Kramer-directed Crossing Over, a Weinstein Company drama about immigration that also features Harrison Ford, Sean Penn and Ashley Judd in the ensemble cast.
