ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Who’s Watching. The upcoming psychological horror thriller movie from Dark Sky Films is scheduled to debut on September 18, 2026, in select theaters (Roxy Cinema in New York City and Laemmle’s Glendale in Los Angeles) and on digital platforms.
“Eccentric musician and aspiring filmmaker Caleb becomes obsessed with his new coworker, Krista, secretly documenting every aspect of her life in an effort to make her the subject of his latest film,” reads the official synopsis. “As Caleb’s fixation intensifies, the lines between observer and participant begin to blur, pulling him deeper into a dangerous spiral of surveillance, manipulation, and obsession. As the cameras keep rolling, the question becomes increasingly unsettling: who is really watching who?”

What happens in the Who’s Watching trailer?
The video features an amateur filmmaker-turned-stalker named Caleb, whose latest film project centers around his creepy obsession with his female co-worker, Krista. It shows Caleb secretly filming Krista’s every move, while also deceiving her into participating in his documentary. The trailer highlights the unsettling progression of his obsession, teasing how far he’ll go for the sake of capturing his subject.
Who’s Watching is written and directed by acclaimed songwriter, musician, and filmmaker Tim Kasher. He’s known as the frontman of influential indie rock bands Cursive and The Good Life. The movie stars Zachary Ray Sherman (Under the Banner of Heaven), Gracie Gillam (Fright Night, Teen Beach Movie), Olivia Luccardi (It Follows), and Steve Berg (Don’t Worry Darling, Tag). It is produced by Kasher, Maher Jafari, Liz Renner, and Josh Ethier.
“This film has been over a decade in the making, evolving through countless drafts before becoming the story it is today,” Kasher said in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud of what we created, and the performances from Zachary Ray Sherman, Gracie Gillam, and Olivia Luccardi brought it to life in ways I could never have imagined. I’m thrilled to finally share this creepy story with audiences and to bring it on the road for these special screenings.”

Ahead of its digital release, Dark Sky Films will first be holding special advance screenings of Who’s Watching in select theaters nationwide. Each event will also include a short acoustic set and Q&A with Kasher.
