Zendaya just saved Tom Holland from spoiling the ending of the highly anticipated Spider-Man 4. The upcoming MCU movie will see the actor reprise his iconic role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
What did Zendaya and Tom Holland say about Spider-Man 4?
A recent promotional clip featuring Zendaya, Tom Holland, and Jacob Batalon is making waves online, thanks to Holland’s infamous habit of accidentally revealing spoilers for Marvel movies. He’s done it several times in the past, and it looked like he was about to do it again with Spider-Man 4. However, Zendaya quickly stepped in and stopped him just in time.
In the video, Holland almost ends up spoiling Spider-Man: Brand New Day‘s ending, saying that apart from being highly emotional, “it does end…”
Zendaya immediately cuts him off, saying, “No. Don’t say.” Batalon quickly weighs in as well, requesting, “Let’s just keep it locked.” To this, Holland finally concedes with a quick, “Yeah.”
Although Holland didn’t reveal any major details about the film’s ending, rumors about Peter Parker’s fate have already been circulating online for months.
Back in April, industry insider My Time To Shine Hello claimed that Spider-Man may actually die at the end of Brand New Day. If true, it would mark one of the character’s most shocking moments in the MCU, following his temporary disappearance at the end of Avengers: Infinity War before his return in Avengers: Endgame.
However, this rumored fate points to a permanent shift for his character, which is bound to be a tough pill for avid fans to swallow. Still, everything should be taken with a grain of salt until Marvel releases official details regarding the movie’s overall plot.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man 4 boasts a star-studded cast including Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Marvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III, among others.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
